Hey, I am Amy Leverenz Gaudie. I live in Fort Collins, Colorado with my husband, best friend and musician Ryan.

My story is this, creating things of all kinds has always been my thing. Since I was a child I have dabbled in just about any kind of medium I could get my hands on. I became an artist at a young age inspired by my creative parents. I received many awards and took part in all art clubs which led me in an artistic direction in college. I have a bachelor in Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design, which I have revisited during the creation of my website. I also returned to school and received my elementary teaching licence after working in a pre-school and realizing I had a special knack for reaching out to children with all kinds of needs. Turns out young children communicate best through art.  I have been teaching for the past nine years inspiring children to be creative.

I am a big DIY er (Do It Yourself er) and self taught seamstress. With anything from decorating my house, refurbishing furniture, being hired to paint murals or pho finishes on walls, to jewelry making and so much more. After taking my first jewelry making class 10 years ago I was hooked and thus began another hobby, which began with using parts from antique jewelry. I love making old things new again. My biggest problem is that I am a collector of things. I rarely throw anything away because you never know when it may come in handy. In college I used to surprise my roommates with jewelry that they had broke and thrown away and I would find it, repair it, and make it fabulous again. I love making others smile and I have always spent time creating special things as gifts for others. Friends and family who have seen my work often tell me I should sell the things I make.  I have recently been given the opportunity to focus my efforts on that long time goal.  This website is my attempt at being an entrepreneur  I really want to specialize in custom items and work one on one with clients to create their own special things.  I began creating personalized items as gifts for friends such as jewelry or new babies, and items for their homes, and they were a big hit.  

I found while planning my own wedding how hard it was to find special bridesmaid gifts and jewelry that were unique and came in several matching sets.  When it comes to matching a special color scheme and using good quality materials to give as a gift that your bridesmaids/ friends will love to use again, it's near impossible. Costume jewelry just didn't cut it.  I wanted to have this available for other brides out there.  Giving someone something that was hand made or made with "them" in mind always adds that special touch, and this was how I got my start.  I want to share my creativity with others.  My website consists of items I make with love, or items that I have hand selected from various dealers that compliment my own creative style. My favorite things in life are family, travel, art, music, and scuba diving. My husband and I love to travel whether by plane or road with good music on hand, this is how we get our inspiration to create beautiful things.  I designed and created my entire website myself with a lot of help from my husband. All of the pictures used in this website were taken in various places we have been. All my items are named after a different city to keep with the theme.

Wherever my path takes me, I will continue to create new things and investigate new ideas.
